KiwiHR

The challenge

HR software lives in one of the most complex, heavily regulated, and jargon-heavy categories on the market — and most tools in the space look and feel like they know it. KiwiHR's whole philosophy is the opposite: keep it beautifully simple. The brand had to translate that promise into every surface, from the logo to the product UI to a policy document, without losing the credibility HR teams need to trust a tool with payroll, compliance, and their people data. It also needed to fit naturally inside the wider Tellent ecosystem without disappearing into it.

The work

I built a visual system rooted in clarity — generous whitespace, a calm green-led palette, and typography that breathes instead of shouting. The logomark keeps the warmth of the kiwi fruit reference while staying confident enough to sit next to Tellent's master brand. Across marketing, product, and internal templates, the system is built around a single question: can a busy HR lead understand this in three seconds? Tone of voice, iconography, and layout all follow the same rule.

The result

A brand that feels genuinely human in a category that rarely does. KiwiHR looks approachable without feeling lightweight, and simple without feeling thin — the kind of software a small HR team trusts with their most sensitive work and their most important people. Beautifully simple, end to end.
